A path that leads toward enlightenment and, ultimately, an escape. American culture is often about cluelessness on important issues, rampant consumerism and contentious divide. These perspectives are supposed to lead to happiness somehow, and if we are to thrive, indeed they must. Charcoal cuts straight to the essence. It is raw and direct; appropriate to life's wellspring.
